The 4x16 Copper Gigabit SPAN Physical Layer Switch increases network visibility and leverages your investment in network analyzers, probes, and security equipment by allowing you to simultaneously monitor up to four separate SPAN ports. Greater visibility accelerates problem resolution, reduces downtime, increases enterprise productivity, and improves ROI.
Like all Datacom Systems physical layer switches, the 4X16SP-1000BT physical layer switch is compatible with all vendor hardware and can be controlled by our free MANAgents™ switch control software, which will allow you to control all of your physical layer switches through a single interface regardless of what network appliances you choose to deploy.
- Leverages up to four network appliances across 16 SPAN/mirror ports in Gigabit Ethernet environments
- Daisy-chain up to four units to access up to 64 SPAN/mirror ports in Gigabit Ethernet networks
- Manage your matrix switch from the same console or browser used by the network appliance
- Central management of matrix switches eliminates the need to travel with portable equipment
- Ideal for networks using distributed network analyzers - save money by deploying and maintaining fewer devices on your network
- Optimal for network access and distribution layer visibility
- Remote deployment speeds problem resolution time
- Allows four protocol analyzers or other network devices to analyze/monitor the same SPAN port
- Easily configured or switched through our free MANAgrents switch control software or directly through the API of most network analyzers
- Conveniently rack-mountable in only 1U (1.72")
